NIL allows student-athletes to grow their brand and connect with the community. Since 2021, collegiate student-athletes can now profit off their name, image, and likeness. NIL activations with student-athletes can range from marketing partnerships with local and national businesses, to autograph sessions, meet-and-greet events and more. Student-athletes can also partner with local community organizations for the betterment of the community.

What does Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) mean?
Is Friends Of UNILV affiliated with UNLV?
No. Friends Of UNILV is a third-party organization, not affiliated with UNLV. However, Friends Of UNILV leadership is comprised, in part, by UNLV alumni and former professional athletes dedicated to creating a program that exclusively benefits the student-athletes, fans, and businesses in the community.
I’d like to set up a meet and greet with a student-athlete, have a student-athlete coach my child, or get a personalized video. Are you able to assist with this?
Yes! If there is a custom opportunity you would like to create with a UNLV student-athlete, we will do our best to facilitate the engagement.
I am a business owner and would like to align my brand with Friends Of UNILV. How can I get more involved?
